Soft Collision is an original abstract monotype created through layered acrylic and hand-pulled from a gel plate. Turquoise, blue, yellow, burgundy, green, and pale silvery-white move across the surface in rounded, cloud-like forms, while broken textures and sweeping marks preserve the physical character of the printing process.
The piece explores the moment when separate forces meetoverlapping, influencing, and changing one another without completely losing their individual presence. Some forms remain distinct while others dissolve into the surrounding field, creating a sense of movement, connection, and quiet transformation.
