Currents Betweenexplores the shifting spaces between movement and stillness, order and unpredictability. Rivers of turquoise, white, charcoal, gold, and electric yellow travel across a deep black field, separating, colliding, and reconnecting as they move through the composition.
Created through the fluid nature of acrylic pouring, the painting was allowed to develop through motion rather than precision. Colors stretch into sweeping passages, narrow into delicate lines, and open again into unexpected forms. Some areas feel almost geological, while others suggest water, wind, or unseen currents moving through an imagined landscape.
The work speaks to the spacesbetween destinations—those periods when something is changing but has not yet become what it will be. What initially appears chaotic begins to reveal pathways, relationships, and moments of unexpected harmony when given time to be seen.
Currents Betweeninvites the viewer to follow whichever path first captures the eye and discover where it leads.
